The Jeani Ferrari and Elizabeth Claes Scholarships
Supporting Local Food Systems and Healthy Communities
presented by the Turlock Certified Farmers Market
The Turlock Certified Farmers Market is excited to announce our 2024 scholarship competition: The Jeani Ferrari and Elizabeth Claes Scholarships: Supporting Local Food Systems and Healthy Communities. The TCFM Jeani Ferrari and Elizabeth Claes Scholarships were established to support 2 graduating high school seniors in the City of Turlock or Denair who exemplify the values of the TCFM and who plan post-high school studies in this general area. Applications should clearly connect to the TCFM mission, stated below:
The Turlock Certified Farmers Market provides the community of Turlock and the surrounding areas with a venue to connect with local farmers and agricultural product producers which encourages a deeper connection with where our food comes from, provides access to locally-grown, fresh and healthy produce, and educates about the agricultural products that are local to our area.
Students should submit their completed TCFM Jeani Ferrari and Elizebeth Claes Scholarship Program application by April 14, 2024. Only one application should be submitted: the criteria for both scholarships is the same. Applications should be submitted through the online application form accessed through the button below. Any questions can be directed to Richard Wallace, TCFM Scholarship Chair at rwallace@csustan.edu.
